Supply Primary Teacher

As part of our supply teaching team, you will cover staff absences, delivering set work whilst maintaining the everyday running of the classroom. While there is no guarantee of minimum hours, longer-term cover opportunities may arise. Flexibility is key, as you may be assigned to different year groups across the school. Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
• Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
• Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
• Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
  
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage behaviour effectively
• A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
• Flexibility and adaptability
Registrations required to be a Primary Teacher:
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
