Full Job Description

Insight Education is seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply SEND Teachers to support primary schools across Central London, covering year groups from EYFS to Year 6. In this role, you will step into a variety of classroom settings, providing high-quality instruction and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular SEND teacher.

+ Provide Feedback Offer constructive feedback to students and staff, ensuring a smooth transition for the regular teacher upon their return.
+ Promote Inclusion Ensure all students feel supported and are able to participate fully in lessons, adapting teaching methods as needed.
+ Maintain Communication Keep in regular contact with school staff to report on student progress and any issues that arise.
+ Uphold High Standards Deliver lessons to the best of your ability, maintaining the school s academic and behavioural standards.

+ Knowledge and understanding of the UK Curriculum
+ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
+ A strong understanding of SEND, including common conditions and strategies to support learning.
+ Maintaining a professional attitude and a positive mindset, even in challenging situations.
+ A flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to working in various school settings.
+ Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.
+ Experience of working with SEND pupils in a teaching environment.
