Teaching Assistant / Individual Needs Assistant / Learning Support Assistant Long term / Permanent / Part-time / Day-to-Day
Class Cover are recruiting Teaching Assistants for schools in and around Horsham / Billingshurst / Midhurst / Storrington / Henfield areas. We have a range of day to day, part-time, long term and permanent work available. If you are looking to get into teaching or want to help in the classroom, please do let Class Cover know! we have some fantastic schools looking to recruit for all sorts of roles., + Collaborate with teaching staff to provide valuable classroom support and assistance to students.
+ Offer one-on-one support and guidance to students with specific learning needs and challenges.
+ Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth for all students.
+ Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
+ Support students' social and emotional development, contributing to their overall well-being

+ Minimum of 12 weeks of prior experience working in a school setting.
+ Genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their learning progress.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
+ Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
+ Flexibility and adaptability to excel in various educational settings.
+ Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and taking initiative.
+ Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and responsibilities effectively
Preferred (but not essential) qualifications and experience:
+ Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
+ Relevant qualifications or training related to Learning Support or SEN.
+ Familiarity with various teaching strategies and educational interventions.
