Full Job Description
- A service that is about much more than offering young people a roof over their head. It's about giving them a safe and inclusive home and help to achieve their potential, transition into independent living, and engage in employment or education
- You'll offer day-to-day emotional and practical support to motivate and empower young people to gain independence and reach their full potential
- You'll provide support and advice in line with support plans and as requested by the young person's keyworker, working collaboratively as part of a team who embrace differences and creative thinking
The ability to engage and build strong positive relationships with young people. - A non-judgemental mind-set and an understanding of the impacts of homelessness, substance misuse, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and trauma
- A forward-thinking, pro-active and resilient attitude
- A strong character who can remain calm and collected in challenging situations
- An understanding of care experienced young people and the issues they face., An IT test will be required to be undertaken, candidates will need to have access to Microsoft Word. This will be a timed test.

But for thousands of the most vulnerable people in Wales, homelessness is a frightening reality. 30 years ago Llamau was founded to provide homeless teenagers with a safe place to stay. Many people think the job of a homelessness charity will be to provide accommodation - a safe place to stay.
