Full Job Description
The Support Co-ordinator will undertake the following duties in order to provide a comprehensive administrative support mechanism for clinics and patients attending the Children's Hospital for Wales outpatient department and maintaining outpatient waiting lists in line with the Policies and Procedures of University Health Board, An excitingopportunity has arisen to join theAcute Child Health Departmentat the University Hospitalof Wales.The post holder will work as part ofa friendly administration teamwithin the Department.
The role is diverse, with each day bringing new challenges.The successful post holder must have a good standard of general education . The post holder should also have appropriate experience and proficiency in Microsoft packages and NHS systems.
The individual must be reliable and flexible to meet service needs and used to working in a very busy and demanding environment.
The successful post holder will possess excellent organisational skills and awareness of the high level of confidentiality within their day to day responsibilities. They will be able to work calmly under pressure and use their own initiative on daily work tasks, with the ability to meet deadlines.
