Full Job Description

  • Consulting with the Customer and Contract teams to define, mature and implement ESS design changes
  • Developing ESS through the engineering lifecycle utilising the Support DDP process
  • Supporting the Project Management team, responsible for delivery of changes with Programme Engineering inputs
  • Providing inputs to Technical Review & Design Review Packs, Technical support to New Capability Bids
  • Supporting introduction of new versions of ESS through the Implementation/Mobilisation phases
  • Performing overall Support Engineering Integration Management for packages of work in your control, As a Senior Support Integration Engineer, you will be supporting the delivery of the Maintenance Products set such as the Typhoon Future Engineering Support System (FESS) and Engineering Support System-Development (ESS-D) in support of our customers Typhoon operations.
  • Working across the wider G&TP teams to ensure an integrated output, the team acts as the focal point for the department on the Maintenance Products programmes and leading the interface into the wider business.

  • Competent in the use of IT, Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and a willingness to adopt new toolsets/ways of working
  • Experience of using IBM Rational Tools such as ClearCase, ClearQuest, DOORS and JIRA would be beneficial
  • Sound understanding of the Engineering Lifecycle, experience of requirements captures and product development, both software and hardware is advantageous
  • Experience with product development and producing capability, inclusive of all support elements, for delivery to customers
  • Project management / programme management experience and the ability to oversee system engineering projects from start of life to end of life
