Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Haematology Oncology team as a Support Project Manager on a fixed term 6 months contract. You will be responsible for attending different task and finish groups relating to projects and being a key representative for the department, making suggestions and feeding back changes to the wider team. You will work closely with the Assistant Service Manager to support with key tasks, as well as link in with the wider management team.,

  • Take lead on project meetings, representing Haematology.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Service Manager, supporting with administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with staff at all levels both internally and externally, answering written and verbal enquiries when necessary, taking action on all matters which can be dealt with without further reference.
  • Appropriately disseminate a variety of correspondence/documentation, some of which is highly confidential.
  • Plan and attend multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings on an ad-hoc basis, hearing and recording information regarding patients' care.
  • Accurate recording of meeting minutes.
  • Create Good Receipts Notes (GRN) for invoices to the department.

    Skills such as organisation, time management and good team working are essential.
