Full Job Description
We are looking for a Support Manager to join our Operations Team supporting our Hospital General Managers with the operational and daily management of the acute hospital sites within CTMUHB. This role will be responding to day to day queries and support Hospital General Managers in teh achievement of key objectives for the acute sites, contributing where appropriate to the production of site based operational plans and business case development to ensure that delivery of a dafe and efficient hospital site.,
- Be responsible for contributing to the operational and daily management of the acute hospital sites within CTMUHB, giving support to the Hospital General Managers with the day-to-day administration related to safe hospital site management and patient flow.
- Support the Hospital General Managers in the achievement of key operational and strategic objectives for the acute sites, contributing where appropriate to the production of site based operational plans and business cases development alongside care groups as appropriate.
- Provide support in achieving standards laid out by the Welsh Government.
- Ensure that routine and ad-hoc information is provided to support the monitoring and evaluating the achievement of the Hospital General Managers objectives.
- Work closely with other managers to ensure a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of services.
- Manage identified staff as part of the acute hospital management function across CTMUHB.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day processes and procedures.
- Be encouraged to identify new and improved ways of working for all staff for whom they are responsible.
- Manage relevant Information System required to support hospital management functions for the University Health Board.
- Provide and analyse statistical information and produce reports for colleagues/CTM/other agencies as required by Hospital General Managers.
