Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Service Support Officer who is committed in providing efficient administrative support for the Employment Hub.

The post holder will predominately provide administrative and front line support in the Employment Hub based in Hull Central Library. Daily duties include speaking with customers, businesses and providers both over the telephone and in person, therefore excellent customer service skills are essential. Working knowledge of Oracle is also desirable.
Experience of working in an office/administration environment with a strong understanding of IT based systems, including Microsoft Office is essential. The successful candidate must have a 'can do' approach to the role and be committed to delivering an efficient and effective support service.
You must have good organisational skills to manage time and priorities in a busy and constantly changing environment, and to be adaptable in meeting the priorities of a multi-disciplinary team working to fixed deadlines. Knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Data Protection Acts to facilitate compliance with current legislation in service delivery is also essential for this role.
The successful applicant must also have a minimum of an NVQ level 3 in business administration, finance, or similar subject., Disability Confident
