Full Job Description

As Support Officer - PRS at Nottingham City Council within housing Solutions, you will play a crucial role in preventing homelessness and supporting citizens facing housing difficulties within the private rented sector. Your responsibilities will including providing administrative support, offering advice and assistance and ensuring that Housing Benefit and Discretionary Housing Payments claims are processed effectively. By actively promoting this vision, you will contribute to the well-being of our citizens and success of Housing Solutions.

  • Ability to write letters and produce reports
  • Commitment to providing a high quality customer focussed service
  • Practical knowledge of IT Systems including a variety of software packages, the aptitude to learn new systems as required and an enthusiasm to maximise the use of IT systems to produce analysis and improve outcomes
  • Ability to monitor and track performance data
  • - A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
