An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to work as part of the Support Services/Facilities Team at The Bennett Centre, Stoke-on-Trent.
Band 2 - £23,615 per annum pro rata, part time.
This post is 18 hours, five days over seven, to provide domestic services at The Bennett Centre and relief domestic services across other trust sites.
You will be primarily based at The Bennett Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays but will be required to be flexible and work in other premises to provide relief domestic services across the Trust premises Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Hours and days will be variable.
Support Services Assistants within the Facilities Team provide a professional in-house specialist cleaning service.
We offer a clean, comfortable and safe environment for patients, clients, visitors and staff and members of the general public., As a Support Service Domestic Assistant you will be expected to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients, visitors and staff in line with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness. You will be responsible on a day-to-day basis to provide a full domestic cleaning service to patient areas, offices and departments in accordance with work schedules, policies and procedures. Youwill work as part of a team to provide cover for each other during annual leave, sickness and absence., For 2024/2025, we have launched our "Proud to be Green" engagement campaign which is aligned to the targets set out in our Green Plan.
