Full Job Description

We are hoping to recruit a member of staff to join our Facilities Team at St Ann's Hospital.

This Housekeeping/catering multiskilled role is working in a friendly hospital environment, helping with cleaning and catering duties within the hospital.

This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday predominately with some weekends 0730 to 1530 each day.

There may be a need to change this pattern to work flexibly within the team to cover the needs of the service. Additional hours are usually available to cover annual leave and sickness absence.

Any additional hours where they are worked at weekend attracts additional enhanced levels of pay and you will receive a generous annual leave allowance.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check., Porter duties - Receiving deliveries and supporting in unloading deliveries such as stores, linen and catering deliveries.

Cleaning - duties across the site, working to NHS cleaning standards, as the cleaning rota requires. - weekly duties supporting the delivery of items throughout the site

Catering - all onsite training will be provided, experience preferred but not essential. Supporting our catering service within the main hospital kitchen.

A full UK driving license is essential for this role as you will be required to use the hospital vehicle to deliver meals to a nearby site.

For all duties, full training, support and uniform will be provided, shadowing current experienced staff to enable the successful candidate to become confident in their role
