Full Job Description

You will work alongside a band 5 or above staff member supporting service users currently staying in one of our Camden Crisis Houses and you will be expected to work flexibly across the 2 sites.
This will include supporting groups, working 1:1 with service users, taking referrals, telephone calls, attending MDT and other team meetings, attending both mandatory and any in-house training that is available to support you settling into the team.
You will be working closely with other Services and Teams in our NHS Trust and organisations outside such as MIND, Hestia and Look Ahead.
You will also be part of supporting service users in medication, social issues and activities in the house alongside qualified staff.
You will have a full induction and supernumerary period supported by Current experienced staff and the Team Managers., We currently have 2 Clinical Support Worker vacancies (Band 3) that will be required to work across two sites :
Daleham Gardens Crisis House in NW3 & Rivers Crisis House NW1
Both Houses are 24hr Crisis units, both with 6 beds which sit in the Camden Community Division in the Camden & Islington Foundation NHS Trust.
We take referrals from the community, wards and other teams/services in the Camden and Islington area and once screened and assessed as suitable will offer a stay with us for 1-2 weeks
We provide a comprehensive mental health assessment, medication review and informal counselling. We encourage our service users to live more independent lives.
Focus is on social inclusion, education and employment and activities of daily living.
We are looking for dynamic individuals with experience working in mental health to work flexibly with a team of support workers and practitioners in providing interventions to clients.
This is an exciting opportunity to build on and develop your skills in mental health.
This is a 24 hour / 7 day a week service including nights and so all staff are required to be able to commit to all types of shift required.
