About Thera East Anglia

Our passion is providing the very best support to people with a learning disability - in their own home in the local community, close to their family and friends.

We work across Norfolk, Peterborough and Cambridgeshire and support people in all aspects of their lives, ranging from a few hours a week up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our support is varied according to what a person needs from us, which means you could be working:
in a person's own home
in the local community
at our short breaks (respite) support
at a person's workplace or training placement

I joined the army aged 16 and upon leaving, became a lorry driver.
In 2013 I wanted a complete career change.
I joined a different support company initially, but only stayed for a year because I felt the individuals could be supported much better if different approaches were adopted.
I found it difficult to persuade those around me so I started looking for another company that would have more inclusive approaches, promoted independence and gave opportunities for people to live they lives they choose.
I found Thera East Anglia and I immediately felt this was a place that was promoting all these things. I have been here ever since.
