Full Job Description

They will support the Club Manager to lead a team of out of hours support staff in planning and delivering an excellent service, ensuring high standards is maintained.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Senior Support Worker. The successful candidate will be a dedicated person who will encourage and engage with the children. Applicants who have the patience to work with young children. Willingness to organise games and activities in line with the school's policy for enrichment activities. Must be able to work as part of team, forming positive relationships with staff, parents and pupils., The post holder will ideally hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years and Childcare and / or Play qualification or willing to work towards. Current working experience of leading and managing a team of staff is essential. Experience of working in a in a similar setting - Out of Hours or Lunch Time Provision is required. The post holder will be trained as an appointed First Aider.

An enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references are therefore required for this role. Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE.

Hours

7.5 hours per week, (7.30am - (9.00am) term time only

Grade

Band C SCP 5 - 8 (£23,500 - £24,702) pro rata (Actual salary £4,158 - £4,371)
