Full Job Description

Dimensions is a leading social care provider in England and Wales, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism We support people with learning disabilities and autism, behaviours of distress, personal care, epilepsy, complex needs and much more. If you have a caring, kind and thoughtful nature, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a part time support worker to join our established team in Sheffield S5 to support two amazing people to live independently within their supported living home they share.

  • Sarah is turning 60 this year and is very independent and is looking for someone to support her to continue to live independently and be involved in her hobbies and interests with her. The one thing she loves to do is go on a shopping trip to Meadowhall!
  • Mark is 73, he has varying levels of independence and is looking for support to continue maintaining this independence. He loves listening to music, especially the 80s
  • They both really enjoy cooking, with support and they like to go shopping together on a Saturday with there weekly shopping list. They both attend day centres on a regular basis What will I be doing?
  • Support them both to live their life in the way they wish to lead it
  • Support them with medication
  • Support with personal care, through prompting and assisting when needed
  • Support with cooking, cleaning, laundry
