Are you an active, motivated individual with a passion for supporting others to lead fulfilling and creative lives? We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to work with a gentleman in his early 50s, who enjoys a wide range of activities and requires proactive, engaging support to continue living life to the fullest., This gentleman lives in his own flat and is looking for a Support Worker who can help him maintain his active lifestyle. He enjoys a variety of activities including swimming, bike riding, day trips out, long walks, and drives in the car. The ideal candidate will be someone who can engage in these physical activities and also think creatively about introducing new ideas and experiences to keep things exciting and fresh. Your role will involve supporting him with everyday activities as well as encouraging and participating in the hobbies he loves. You will be responsible for motivating him to try new things and staying active, whether it's planning a new bike route, a spontaneous day out, or simply exploring new places for long walks. Our client thrives on variety and loves to stay busy, so you will need to bring energy and enthusiasm to every shift. While being active is a key part of the role, there will also be an element of personal care involved. We are looking for someone who can provide this support with dignity and respect, ensuring the client remains comfortable and independent.,

  • Active and energetic: You must enjoy physical activities and be ready to participate in swimming, bike riding, walking, and more.
  • Proactive and creative: You'll need to think outside the box, coming up with new ideas and activities to keep him engaged and excited about each day.
  • Motivated and independent: You will work with minimal supervision, so the ability to motivate yourself and the gentleman is crucial.
  • Flexible: The role requires full flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and waking nights.
  • A UK licence holder: You will need to drive as part of your role, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Compassionate and respectful: Personal care is a part of this role, and it's important that you can provide this support with respect and sensitivity.
