Owen attends hydrotherapy on alternate Wednesdays, and on Thursdays he catches up with schoolwork set by his college. There is time in the week to plan extra activities for Owen to attend, though you ll need to be flexible and adaptable for plans to change if Owen is feeling under the weather and needs a rest day at home instead. Owens s family would love his new Support Worker to have experience in supporting people to develop their communication. This role involves a 12-hour weekend shift, either a day, or a waking night, to accommodate the rest of
Owen s team. During a waking night, Owen requires monitoring whilst he uses a BiPap and SATs machine and to administer and record his medications. You will be in an adjoining room with a CCTV monitor; Owen requires constant monitoring through the camera, and his SATs recorded each hour.
