As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people! Our residential service in Hartlepool is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. This role will involve

• Ensuring the building is safe by carrying out regular safety checks i.e doors and windows are locked and secured.
• Carrying out personal care for individuals
• Completing cleaning duties
• Ensuring necessary paperwork is complete.

  We're interested in our Night Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Night Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.

Typical Shifts are: Early 8am - 3pm Late 3pm 10pm Long Days 8am 10pm Wake Nights 10pm 8am Join Voyage Care and Feel Valued, we reward your dedication with: Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour (Ts & Cs apply) Premium overtime rates at an additional £1 per hour (Ts & Cs apply) Wagestream giving you the flexibility to draw upon up to 40% of your pay, as it is earned.
