Support Worker

I am a 52 year old transgender female living in Leek ST13, I enjoy cooking and catching up on my favourite TV shows.
I have spinal arthritis and I am looking for a support worker to support me for 14 hours a week.
The purpose of this role is to build a trusting professional relationship and support me with personal & social care and to help me develop a good quality of life.
PA to support with:
Meal and drink preparation,
Shopping - picking up items not available by delivery.
Personal care (showering / hair washing) - mopping wet room floor after use. Mobility / getting around the home safely.
Managing / ordering / collecting medication
Laundry - supporting with elements that I cannot complete independently e.g. carrying washing up and down the stairs.
Cleaning / ensuring home remains tidy and pathways are clear to reduce risk of trips / falls
Accessing the community / appointments
Paperwork / correspondence

Be a driver with own vehicle (Business insurance will be required when in post)
Be patient and supportive.
Be friendly and outgoing.
Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy.

You should have a thorough understanding of personal safety.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
