We are currently recruiting for Days Support Workers and Night Support Workers to join us in The South Elmsall region of WF9 1 You will be working as part of a dedicated team in one of our supported living services in West Yorkshire. Where we support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. As a Residential Support Worker, your responsibilities will include: Working and supporting adults with complex needs to create positive outcomes and promote independence. Direct practical interactions with adults including, activities, cooking, personal care, and engaging with the wider community. Engage in planning and coordination of activities as a team. residential homes of which you should have an understanding. Engage in planning, implementation, and delivery of support plans. Working in partnership with other agencies. providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations. As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents to regulatory standards. In summary, we are looking for people who like to have fun and enjoy the company of adults. Have an understanding of Autism, anxiety, and the challenging behaviours that this can present or, are willing to learn. Experience isn't required as training will be provided for the right candidates. The most important thing for us is that you share our values, have a desire to make a real difference, involving all service users and helping improve everyday lives. At Ivy Care We have lots of fun and adventure in exploring the local community, travelling to places that our service users would like to visit, going to local pubs and restaurants, shopping, recreational activities, including, swimming, playing bingo, dancing/singing, bowling, computer games, walking, visiting our local community centre. We also like time in house; watching TV, listening to music, painting, baking, playing games and chatting, really getting to know our service users, family, friends, and colleagues, so that we are all working in partnership as a 'team' ensuring our service users are at the heart of everything that we do here at Ivy Care. Because of the nature of its work with vulnerable adults, Ivy Care uses the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to make checks at an enhanced level. This post is subject to the enhanced level DBS check.

Currently offering full-time/ part-time days shifts (22.5, 30, 37.5 hours). Shifts are 7.5 hours and are a mixture of Early (07.30-15.00) and lates (14.30-22.00) We are also looking for full time night support workers where you work 35 hours per week. The night shift hours are 21.45-07:45 working 4 shifts one week, and the 3 the next.
