Role Overview : We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, helping them to lead active, socially valued, and fulfilling lives. You will work closely with each individual, tailoring support to their unique needs and aspirations. About Cartref Mynydd : Located just a few miles from the breathtaking Gower Peninsula, a designated area of outstanding beauty known for its sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, and charming coastal villages, Cartref Mynydd offers a picturesque setting. Our supported individuals enjoy exploring the Brecon Beacons to the north and engaging in a variety of activities including hiking, swimming, trampolining, trips to the cinema, and relaxing day trips to the beach. A day in the life of working at Cartref Mynydd includes :

  • Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
  • Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
