Full Job Description

We are looking to expand our team of Support Workers across County Durham.

Part Time, Weekend work and Bank positions available.

You will need to be available to work sleeping night shifts and also weekends., As a Support Worker, you will ensure that our service users receive care and support completing a range of person-centered tasks. These will include personal care, clinical needs, daily living activities, social activities and any other services needed.

You will need to be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of our service users. To communicate effectively and professionally with all service users and team members. To work effectively as part of the local team. To embrace the policies, procedures, aims, objectives, and philosophy of the company and demonstrate them throughout the role.
You will need to have a calm approach enabling you to care for service users living with challenging behavior, autism and physical or learning disabilities.

Requirements:

To complete the induction and care certificate
To work towards and complete the QCF Level 2 in Care as a minimum standard qualification
Fully commit yourself to the role
Proactively push to learn new skills and knowledge as identified by you, your line manager, people you support and our organisation.
The right to live and work in the UK.
Access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving license is desirable to not mandatory.
Appointment of this position is subject to a successful DBS check and x2 satisfactory references.
