Support Worker

You will be supporting the young men to live their lives how they choose and to achieve their goals.

- You'll be involved in helping to increase their independent living skills, especially when getting involved around home.

- One individual will require a lot of visuals to prepare for their activities.

- You will be supporting the gentlemen with their personal care (varying degrees of independence), meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

The people we support have autism, communication difficulties and can display behaviours of distress.

An active, outgoing & determined support worker with a positive attitude would be a wonderful match., The young men can experience behaviours of distress at times, and whilst person-centred training will be provided, you will need to have some previous experience supporting people with complex behavioural needs to be a good match for their team., Disability Confident

Days Shifts: 9am - 3pm
Afternoon Shifts: 3pm - 9pm
Long Day Sleep-In: 9am - 10pm, sleep in then 8am - 9am follow on shift (Weekends)
Afternoon Sleep-In: 3pm - 10pm, sleep in then 8am- 9am the following day (Weekdays)
Waking nights 9pm - 9am
We're looking for people to work a combination of shifts on a rota covering both weekdays and weekends
Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work / life balance
