Full Job Description

You will be joining a team which supports people with mild learning disabilities predominantly within our supported living service. Our aim is to give the people you will be supporting as much control over their own lives as possible. This is a responsible Role which is really varied, can be challenging and is extremely rewarding, the job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support so they can live as independently as possible and have the freedom to make their own choices. On a daily basis, you may be involved in supporting people with the following activities:

  • Providing active support
  • Assisting with jobs around the house
  • Helping the people we support with evening and morning routines
  • Personal care
  • Monitoring the wellbeing of the people we support
  • Dealing with any issues that arise during the day
  • You need to have basic IT skills as you will be required to write support plans and use computer on daily basis. You must have a full drivers licence to be considered for this role.
