Support Worker - Cardiff - Oakfiled House - Hourly rate £11.60 to £12.50 dependent on qualifications and experience - Full Time role - 40.25 hours per week

Role Overview : As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support and care of individuals with autism. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being. About Oakfield House : Oakfield House is a bright, open and fun place to live and learn. Situated next to Birchwood School, Oakfield House is our home for children with autism between the ages of 8 to 18. Our children are supported to socialise and make lifelong friends in a safe and nurturing environment. The children we support have access to a peer group, where they can learn, make mistakes, practice and ultimately succeed. A day in the life of working at Oakfield House includes :
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Encourage and support individuals in participating in community activities, leisure pursuits, and educational programs.
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that promotes independence and personal development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
