Full Job Description

Do your friends describe you as outgoing, enthusiastic and resilient? Could you help people with a learning disability or mental health needs to develop a more fulfilling life? You'll be working across our Forensic services in the Greater Manchester area. At our Forensic services you'll support people who have been through the custodial system and are now working with our staff teams to live a life that is meaningful to them. You'll join us in supporting people to enjoy a wide range of activities and hobbies. There are some pool players, fishing enthusiasts and bike riders at our services. Some people attend work placements and college courses. What they all have in common is wanting to live a better life. You will help individuals develop independence around the tasks of everyday living such as cooking, cleaning, and paying bills, at the same time as supporting them with their health and wellbeing, including mental health. You will strive to find new opportunities for everyone and make every day better.

Experience isn't always necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you're likely to be a great fit. We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.
