Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive support worker to join our busy supported living service. The people we support have a varied range of needs including support with personal care, accessing the community, assisting with medication, attending appointments and support with their everyday activities, tasks and needs., We are looking for a part-time support worker to work in our supported living service in Boxgrove, the service is a 4-bed bungalow where we support 3 individuals.

The role involves working to a four-week rolling rota, which includes weekend work, day and evening shifts, and possible sleep-ins. Available shifts and contracts can be discussed at interview.

Duties included are: Supporting with medication, managing finances, arranging and attending appointments. Positive behaviour support. Assisting with transport, and the accessing the community. Meal preparation and supporting healthy lifestyles. Supporting with household tasks and supporting with personal care with some hoist work included. Communicating with the team. Supporting with daily activities and encouraging enrichment. Some lone working may be required.
