Full Job Description

  • To assist in the design and implementation of therapeutic programmes.
  • To support the individual to be autonomous in self-care.
  • To monitor and take accurate data daily.
  • To support individuals during times of challenging behaviour.
  • To model best practice and professionalism at all times.
  • To support the individual in their domestic skills.
  • To attend mandatory training, supervision and team meetings.
  • To promote safeguarding and wellbeing for the individuals.
  • Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends and provide cover.
  • To work or be down for cover every other Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing
  • Day and New Years Eve.
  • To support the individual hiking, cycling and in other similar activities.
  • Other duties as required by your manager
  • Essential
  • The minimum working hours per week are 15
  • A positive attitude!
  • To be flexible and take constructive feedback well, when engaging in reflective
  • practice.
  • To be able to work overnights, weekends, Christmas period and be available for
  • emergency cover. Preferred
  • Hold a clean UK driving licence
  • Previous experience with LD's/Autism would be helpful but not essential.
  • Shift times are 9.30am-3.30pm 3.30pm-10.00pm sleep 10pm-9.30am

    We are looking for enthusiastic, empathic, genuine and patient people to join our team, who are interested in making a difference to two adult young men's lives. As a team, we support two autistic twin men in their own home, using a range of research-based approaches, such as person centred therapy, elements of applied behaviour analysis, picture exchange communication systems.
