Support Worker

Role - Support Worker Location - Swansea - Hourly rate £11.60 - £12.00 based on 39 hours per week (days, and sleep in) We're a leading organisation dedicated to provide exceptional care and support to young people who have had childhood trauma, are struggling with mental health or both. It takes a special type of person to dedicate their career to supporting others. A day in the life of working at Rhos Cottage includes:

• Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
• Being a positive role model;
• Promoting independence by supporting a range of social, school and work-based activities;
• Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
• Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
• General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation
  
  A can-do attitude, resilient nature;
• Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
• To hold a current valid driver's license;
• Compassion and empathy;
• Good communication both verbal and written;
• Flexibility around shift times;
• To be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
