Full Job Description

United Response is looking for someone to join one of our busy services in Crawley on a full-time basis. We currently support 8 individuals with a range of physical and learning disabilities across 2 properties. The people we support are a fun loving bunch of characters who love getting out and about and we need you to help us make this happen. The most important things is that you have the compassion and integrity to treat people with dignity and respect and that you are willing to promote a person centred approach. If you have the right values then we will give you all the training and support you need. Whilst previous experience of having worked in social care may help with some of the challenges it is by no means essential. As a Support Worker you will:

  • Provide person centred support
  • Assist with jobs around the house
  • Help the people we support develop life skills
  • Accompany the people we support in the community
  • Assist with personal finances
  • Administer medication
  • Personal care
  • As part of your role, you will be using a digital app called Nourish, where all care and support plans of the people we support are held. Experience of using a digital or mobile app would be desirable however full training will be given.
