Full Job Description

This is a responsible role which is really varied, extremely rewarding and satisfying as you will be helping people live a fun and active life. This is a role that will be supporting adults with multiple needs across two services based on the same site, near the town centre. You will be part of a team supporting six individuals who have near 1:1 staffing in support with two staff sleeping in overnight.

  • Up to 37.5 hours a week with the prospect of picking up additional hours
  • Shift patterns are:Earlies=7.30-15.00, Lates= 14.30-22.00, there are also some shifts that are 11.00-19.00 or 09.00-21.00
  • 4 sleep ins per month
  • Work 2 weekends per month
  • About you- Full training is provided, however, previous Positive Behaviour Support experience is essential.,
  • 20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part time), which increases after 3 and 5 years' service

  • You're able to work as part of a team as well as lone working.
  • You have a range of communication skills
  • Confident in assisting with personal care, moving + handling
  • Compassion and integrity to treat people with dignity and respect
  • Adaptable to different abilities in needs and communication
  • Driver desirable but not essential
  • As part of your role, you will be using a digital app called Nourish, where all care and support plans of the people we support are held. Experience of using a digital or mobile app would be desirable however full training will be given, Disability Confident
