Full Job Description

United Response are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join one of our busy supported living services based in Ipswich. You will have the opportunity to support adults with a variety of physical and mental health conditions as well as learning difficulties but all of whom enjoy being as active as possible. We are looking for local staff in the area, due to the location of the service. As a Support Worker you will be responsible for:

  • Helping with daily chores such as cleaning and cooking
  • Administering medication
  • Accompanying individuals to appointments
  • Taking individuals out for leisure activities
  • Personal care
  • Promoting independence where possible
  • Some outreach work
  • Along with being passionate about supporting people with disabilities and share our values of being united, responsive, creative, honest and strong. You should be a patient and resilient individual who is willing to invest time in getting to know the people we support and understand what care best supports their needs.

    We are looking for 2x part-time 20 Hours per week Vacancy. However, we are flexible with this if you need more or less hours. Creative, Strong, Honest, Responsive and United. If you would like to work for an organisation that believe in these, then this is the role for you!,
