Support worker - Ty Bronllys, Brecon - £11.60 to £12.00 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience - Full time - 40.25 hours per week - Plus £1,500 Annual location allowance

Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support and care of individuals with autism. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
About Ty Bronllys: Ty Bronllys is nestled in beautifully scenic Brecon beacons National Park and offers a charming rural setting, beautiful landscapes and historic attractions. Our residents at Ty Bronllys like to take regular walks and hikes in the surrounding areas, visiting the local village and venturing into the rolling hills, lush green fields and engaging with the local history, including Bronllys Castle. On other days, they may wish to venture to Merthyr for shopping and swimming, or perhaps a visit to Brecon and take a walk along the river, stopping at a café for cake., Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.
- Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
- Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of an incredibly supportive senior team.
- Support our young people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our young people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
