Full Job Description

40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a 3 on, 3 off rota basis, including night shifts, flexible to meet business needs., Are you a positive role model looking for an exciting, new career opportunity providing invaluable support to young people?

Previous experience within this field would be advantageous, however this is not essential. We welcome applicants that we feel have the right characteristics, aptitude, and life skills to work with our young people.

A full UK Driving Licence is preferred to support young people with activities.

· Passionate and enthusiastic approach to the delivery of Children's Services and helping young people

· Safeguarding awareness, particularly in relation to young people

Trevone House is Gloucestershire County Council's flagship, semi-independent accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25. We provide care leavers, the very best pathway to a brighter future, in addition to giving specialist support to those needing help at a time of crisis.

In addition to 14 flats for young people leaving care, Trevone House has a well-being suite offering two specialist flats for young people who need additional support with their mental health needs as well as an emergency / PACE flat for short term places of safety. As a Support worker, you will assist the delivery of the bespoke services to support young people residing in and external to Trevone House.
