Full Job Description

A Support Worker is required for 22 flexible hours per week to support a young Autistic gentleman with his social activities.
The hours are fairly flexible on a day to suit both, depending on activity.

The gentleman likes walking, computer games , days out and going to the cinema . The ideal support worker to have similar interests and to encourage the young man's social interaction. He requires support with a small amount of domestic duties and cooking, but mainly this position would be to gain all aspects of his independence.

A car driver (with a clean UK driving licence would be an advantage, although the young man does have a bus pass which entitles the support worker with free travel.

The hours would be a mix of daytime and evening and can be mutually agreed and planned between the gentleman and support worker.

The rate of pay is £12.10 per hour, time and a half for bank holidays, expenses, paid annual leave and pension (if required)
