Support Worker - Female

This is a role as a Support Worker at T Gwyn Hall in Abergavenny, working with people who have a range of Mental Health conditions. The job involves providing care and support to help service users in their recovery journey, using your knowledge, experience and caring nature to make a positive difference to their lives. The role is part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team in a rehabilitation and recovery service within the Brecon Beacons National Park., As a Support Worker, you will join an inclusive and supportive team that works together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions. Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. It can be a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you've made someone's life better.
