My daughter is a happy, energetic girl on the autistic spectrum. She is able to communicate and hold simple conversations, but doesn't like noise so requires a quiet, calm environment. You will be supporting with arts and craft activities; to access the swimming pool (getting in with her), bouncy castle and all sorts of fun activities that children enjoy. If she joins other children for activities you will only be expected to support her. - Safety conscious
- Experience/interest in working with children with additional needs
- Calm and practical
- Flexible and available to cover varying hours
- Car owner/driver with full UK driving licence and appropriate business insurance or willingness to obtain this.
The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour. - You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks (calculated based on annual hours worked).
- Hours and times of work:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
