Full Job Description

I am looking for a PA for my 7 year old son. He is autistic and non verbal so it will take someone with a lot of caring and patience. He gets over stimulated and cannot communicate his needs so will have to be a person he can be calm and help stimulate him. In terms times it would involve being here for school drop off and feeding him dinner (which I will have prepared) otherwise most of the duties involved a getting ready for bed, bathing, changing nappies etc. He likes to be outside including walks along the seafront and loves water play and bouncing so again taking him out would play a big part in the role. Duties include: Personal grooming Eating and drinking assistance Moving and handling Other relevant duties as required Housekeeping Shopping Cooking Transportation Looking after pets Dressing / undressing Bathroom assistance, All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required. Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
