Full Job Description
Hello there. I am ideally looking for two to assist me with caring for my 24-year-old son, within our own home. He hasDown Syndrome and severe non-verbal autism/complex and challenging behaviour. He requires 1:1 24/7care/supervision in all areas of his life, including all elements of personal care such as feeding, bathing, and so forth.Outside of the home, he needs a 2:1 ratio of help to access the wider community., Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Assistance with all aspects of personal care and feeding requirements.
1:1 care and supervision within the home.
Assisting with any activities to aid enrichment.
Providing in-home respite for parent/carer when needed.
Helping him to access the wider community.

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
