  • Empower Independence: Assist him in maintaining their independence by supporting them in their daily activities in and around their home.
  • Outdoor Adventures: Accompanying him on walks and visits to local parks. Encourage exploration and engagement with the community.
  • Personal Care: Be comfortable with all aspects of personal care, ensuring the client's well-being and dignity is always upheld. Supporting with medication administration alongside this.
  • Routine Matters: Respect and follow his established routine. Their safe space relies on consistency.
  • Effective Communication: Although he doesn't communicate with words, he has his own unique ways to express his needs. You'll learn to understand and respond to their cues.
  • Confidence: You don't need prior experience, but confidence is key. Be proactive and approachable.
  • Strong Character: Motivate and encourage independence while maintaining a compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Team Player: Sometimes you'll work independently, and other times alongside colleagues. Consistency in our approach is crucial.

  • Training and Support: We provide ongoing training and support to enhance your skills.

  • Shift Patterns We are looking for flexibility to work on a rota basis and you will be required to work a minimum of 1- sleep in a week. Shift times: Early, 8am-2pm Long days 10am-10pm including sleep in and finish 8am.
