Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure smooth shift operations.
  • Provide stimulating and meaningful learning experiences and activities.
  • Supervise and respond to each resident, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Offer stimulation and reassurance to make each visit enjoyable.
  • Shift Pattern:
  • Includes evenings, alternate weekends, and some bank holidays.
  • May require night cover support, although a dedicated night team is in place., These posts are considered by KCC to be customer-facing positions. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

    We are looking for some part-time Support Workers to join our team. Your role will be to create a nurturing and safe environment that promotes the emotional and physical well-being of our residents. Flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to improving outcomes for people are essential qualities for this role., Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to achieve this within two years of employment.
