Support Worker Mental Health

We are looking for support workers, to support young person who is keen on a range of sporting activities, including Kayaking and attending the Gym. He will be moving from his current residential service to a more independent living setting, which is where you come in!

You will be required to work flexibly to support his needs. there will be the opportunity for full time and part time roles.

He would require you to support him to get to his work placement in the morning and accompany him home later in the day, support to the local Gym, Canoe club and other activities in the local community.

You will also provide support to ensure that all aspects of independent living are maintained once he moves to his own home, this will include meal planning, shopping and preparation, support with prompting medication and maintaining his home.

We will require that you have good verbal communication skills, and you'll need a full driver's license so that you can use his car to help him get around.

He would really like to be supported by staff that have the enthusiasm and energy to keep up with his active lifestyle, so if that's you, we and he wants to hear from you now.

Due to vehicle insurance conditions all candidates mush be over 25 to drive the Car that is provided by the individual who you will be supporting.

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• supported living services: 1 year (preferred)


Language:

• fluent English (required)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
