Full Job Description

buses, and an interest in transport. I like my routines and a structure to my day.
I am looking for a PA to support me to get out and about, and travel on some
buses with me. I have a learning disability and my friendliness and chattiness
makes me vulnerable, I need a PA to ensure that I am safe at all times when out
with me. I know the bus timetables off by heart, and even know some of the
drivers rotas, so can anticipate which driver will be driving the bus. I can find it
hard when there are unexpected changes to bus timetables and will need
reassurance if that were to happen.

Duties include:

Companionship
I really enjoy riding the buses and getting out and about, so am looking for
someone who will enjoy this with me, so we can go out and explore., All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an
Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be
employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives.
Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued
employment contracts.
