Full Job Description
I am looking for cheerful, outgoing PA for my learning disabled, autistic daughter aged 33.
She is a lovely sunny girl, but very vulnerable and she would love someone to take her out and about for a few hours a week to have some fun.
She likes bowling, cinema, shopping, going to gardens, walking, playing pool , having coffee, all the sorts of things young women love to do.
Duties will include accompanying her to social activities and places of interest and assisting her to identify appropriate stimulating activities and places to visit.
Also accompanying her to a monthly night club for disabled people - one Friday per month in Hastings.
Occasionally you would be required to watch a movie at home with her or trying some cooking. We have dogs.
You should have a good imagination for thinking of different stimulating activities, an understanding of how to keep ayoung, vulnerable woman safe.
You will also be required to give her guidance and help her develop skills for assessing risk and making safe decisions.
As we live in a village (Northiam), a driver with own car is essential.
