Would you like to enhance the lives of our young people and allow them to flourish? We have a fantastic role for a Support Worker which will allow you to do just that!, Hours: Various shifts available including; days and bank roles, term time weekdays 7am-11am, afternoon term time 2:00pm-9:30pm, Day & afternoon shifts in school holidays & weekends 7am-2pm OR 2:00pm-9:30pm

The role:
As a Support Worker you will be working in a specialist residential home just outside of Chippenham for young people aged eight to eighteen, with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours that may challenge. Your key responsibilities will include:
Socialising with young people and creating fun and engaging activities and home events
Cooking and support in the kitchen during mealtimes
Assisting with fantastic days out with young people
Assisting with personal care
Complete relevant documentation
We are looking for people who are willing to go the extra mile to make a positive difference in the lives of the young people being supported. You will need to be caring and respectful, enabling people to have a high quality of life., Experience working with children and young people or adults with complex needs and behaviours that challenge
A valid driving licence with access to a vehicle, Accredited Positive Behaviour Management Training
All employees are required to attain level 3 diploma for residential care within 2 years of their start date. This can be completed as an apprenticeship which can be funded by us through our Autonomy Academy.
