Full Job Description

o Supporting individuals to administer or manage their medication and ensuring the medication needed is ordered and in place for use.
o Be responsible for arranging and supporting people to attend regular heath & wellbeing appointments.
o Be engaging and guiding to help people we support gain social skills and home and life skills.
o Support individuals to achieve planned goals and personal wishes and dreams.
o Guide the people we support to access employment, education and leisure opportunities if they wish to.
o Assist tenants to develop and maintain relationships with family and friends.
o Support tenants to become active and valued members of the community.
o Be a verbal or physical support for any budget or banking needs.

We are currently looking for a courteous, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Support Worker to join our company based in Surrey for our Brand-New Supported Living Service. As a Support Worker you will be responsible for supporting individuals in their own flat which are 8 flats in one location in Camberley. We are looking for someone with experience in supporting people that need positive behaviour support and encouragement in their day to day lives, however we have a full training package for any new staff so if you are looking to give something back to people that need support this role could be for you., NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or willing to work towards

Be well-organised, Self-Motivated and delegating work appropriately.

Proven ability to lead and supervise others.

An understanding of Support planning, Risk assessing and the Mental Capacity Act (DOLs)

Be experienced in or confident to undertake training on administering medication.

A full driving licence is preferred, and willing to use Business insurance or holds Business insurance and happy to use own vehicle to support Service users

Above all, have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling.
