As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence., If you are invited to a virtual interview, this will preferably be undertaken using the Microsoft Teams software, which is currently free for new users, however if there are any issues with accessing this technology, we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements prior to the interviews.

Hourly Rate: £12.38 (£12.88 with supplement) A market supplement of £0.50p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate. This will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours. The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role. About Our Home Inglewood Residential Home is a multi-award-winning home in Cumbria which has been awarded 'Outstanding' by CQC. Inglewood provides a safe, caring and home from home environment for up to 39 residents with complex health care needs. Situated close to all facilities in the market town of Wigton, we offer respite and residential care for those who are elderly, frail or have dementia. The site is also a hub within the local community which is used as a base by external groups and provides day care services. Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm - 7.30am (nights), over 7 days, 365 day a year - this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
