Support Workers

We are currently recruiting a Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to a delightful 10 year boy who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

Working within the family home, you will provide support in all areas, including providing personal care, supporting therapy programmes and facilitating age-appropriate activities.

Interested? To be considered, experience is desirable but not essential (working in either a paid or voluntary caring role). Our client has a wheelchair accessible vehicle full driving licence is also an advantage.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare, therefore you will be offered full training and ongoing supervision.

Term time 07.00 to 10.30 and 1400 to 18.30 / 20.30 possibly some later evenings.

Weekends Saturday or Sunday approximately 6 7 hours per day, available throughout the year.

Non Term time / school holidays Approximately 10 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Cover for family holidays overseas and in the UK

Open to flexibility within reason.

Bank holidays form part of the core hours but will be paid at pay rate 2.

Support for UK and overseas holidays may also be required but will be discussed and arranged in advance.

Pay and benefits:

Pay rate 1 - £17.20 per hour

Pay rate 2 - £19.20 per hour
