Full Job Description

Bank contracts are not temporary, but they are flexible. They don't have any guaranteed hours so when we do offer you work it's your choice to work or not. This gives you the flexibility to work around your other commitments, such as your studies, another job or caring for family members. Or if you a looking to gain experience in the care sector without making a permanent commitment, or to simply 'keep your hand in' if you are partially retired; bank contracts are an excellent option for you., Our Support Workers make a real difference to our residents every day and your professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Responsible for keeping wakeful watch on the security and safety of our residents and the home in general, you'll also be supporting residents with their personal care needs and providing companionship. You'll be expected to carry out light household duties to ensure that the household and resident's rooms are kept clean and tidy, involving residents where it's appropriate to do so. You'll understand that some shifts might be challenging, but you'll also laugh, have fun and make lasting memories with our residents.

Ideally with, or working towards, a Diploma/NVQ Level2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, you'll have a previous experience of elderly care and a commitment to providing high quality care standards for older people. In addition, you'll be good at communicating with people, compassionate with a can-do approach and enjoy working as part of a team. You'll be keen to learn and will want to excel at your job at all times, so we'll provide all the support you need to start your career with us - all delivered in a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment. If you think you have the right skills and attitude to deliver the highest quality of care for our residents as a Night Support Worker within our care homes, then you could be next to join us.
